The eighth round of the season will take place this weekend in Budapest<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The traditional Hungaroring circuit in Budapest, Hungary, opens its gates this weekend to host activities for the FIA F3 World Championship as a support race to the Formula 1 World Championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leading the Championship with 128 points is the Brazilian Gabriel Bortoleto, competing for the Italian team Trident. He is already in Hungary and feels confident that he can have another consistent weekend with a good score for the Championship standings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bortoleto has previously raced at the Hungarian circuit in other categories. Last year, competing in the Formula Regional European Championship, the young Brazilian achieved good times in qualifying and stood on the podium in one of the races. His strong track record and intense preparation on home and team simulators leave the driver excited about aiming for another good result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hungaroring was inaugurated in 1986 and has been part of the Formula 1 World Championship calendar ever since. Its track features medium-high-speed characteristics and stands out with a narrow layout compared to current standards. The circuit measures 4.381 meters and features 14 turns. It was on this track in 1986 that Nelson Piquet made the historic overtaking move on Ayrton Senna, overtaking him on the outside of turn 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I’m very excited for the weekend. I am preparing myself intensely for each weekend separately, and honestly, I amavoiding talking about the Championship as much as possible. My goal is to perform very well this weekend, and to achieve that, we will focus our efforts on a setup entirely oriented towards qualifying. This track is quite challenging for overtaking, and tire degradation is significant. Therefore, the further up we can start on the grid, the better for our final performance in the races. Let’s move forward with confidence but, above all, tranquility,”analyzed the S\u00e3o Paulo driver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As usual throughout the season, the official schedule begins on Friday with the free practice sessions and qualifying. On Saturday, the Sprint Race takes place, and on Sunday, the Feature Race. The entire schedule will be broadcasted live for Brazil on the Band Sports channel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
