Brazilian driver Gabriel Bortoleto, from the Stake F1 Team | Kick Sauber, is preparing for his debut at the iconic Monte Carlo circuit, home of the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix, which takes place from May 23rd to 25th. This will be the eighth round of the 2025 Formula 1 World Championship.
Although this is his first F1 appearance in Monaco, Gabriel is no stranger to the circuit, having competed there in Formula 3 in 2023 and in Formula 2 last year. The Monaco track, just 3.337 kilometers long, is famous for its narrow corners, steep climbs and descents, and the iconic tunnel, offering unique challenges to the drivers. Sunday’s race will be over 78 laps long.
“It’s amazing to race in Monaco – the atmosphere, the history, and the challenge make this weekend truly iconic. The team has been working hard behind the scenes to prepare, and I went back to Hinwil to focus on the simulator after Imola. Last weekend did not go exactly as I expected, but there were still some positives to build on, especially in terms of pace. I am excited to get back on track, enjoy every corner, and give it my all,” said Gabriel Bortoleto.
Gabriel is supported by key sponsors such as Banco BRB, KitKat, Porto, Motorola, and Snapdragon.
